CONSULTANCY & RESEARCH

Two Approaches, One Foundation

Every organization, system, or community is shaped by the relationship between structure and meaning. My work helps reveal how time, values, and identity move through that relationship. I approach this through two interconnected practices: consultancy and research. No project is too big or too small if it offers a chance to uncover meaning and create alignment (spoiler alert: all projects offer this chance.)

How These Approaches Connect

Consultancy and research are not separate disciplines. They are two ways of studying meaning, one through lived experience and the other through data. Both seek clarity about how people create coherence between what they value and how they live or work.

Whether I am designing a survey, interpreting an interview, or guiding a strategic discussion, my focus is the same: to help people and organizations move in rhythm with what matters most.

Consultancy

Exploring meaning, rhythm, and alignment.

Consultancy is where I work qualitatively and conceptually, helping organizations make sense of their internal dynamics and align their practices with what matters most. This work draws on the same analytical discipline that underpins my research. The methods are different, but the intention is the same: to uncover how meaning moves through systems and how alignment creates coherence.

Projects often include:

  • Organizational Narratives: Understanding how values, identity, and time shape a culture’s story.

  • Temporal Audits: Examining how people experience time across routines, expectations, and structures.

  • Values Alignment Frameworks: Connecting stated values with lived experience and decision-making.

  • Reflective Dialogue Sessions: Facilitating structured conversations that bring insight to the surface.

Each engagement begins with listening. The goal is to reveal the underlying rhythm of an organization and translate that insight into sustainable, meaningful practice. No project is too big or too small. Each one is a chance to explore what it means to live and work in rhythm with what matters most.

Research

Measuring what matters.

Research is where I work quantitatively and at scale to uncover what drives human decisions. I lead this work through Endless Definition Research, the practice I founded to explore values, motivation, and behavior through data. With experience designing and analyzing more than a thousand surveys, I use evidence to reveal the structures that shape how people think and act.

Projects often include:

  • Survey Design and Fielding: Building instruments that capture values, motivations, and attitudes with precision.

  • Segmentation and Profiling: Identifying meaningful audience groups based on what truly matters to them.

  • Mixed-Methods Analysis: Combining quantitative reach with qualitative insight for a complete picture of meaning.

  • Insight Translation: Turning data into clear frameworks and strategies that inform action.

Every project begins with a question about meaning and ends with findings that make it visible. No project is too big or too small. Each one contributes to a broader understanding of how people find coherence between what they believe and how they live.

No project is too big or too small. Each one begins with a conversation. If you would like to discuss a project, partnership, or inquiry, please reach out through the contact page.
